Contrasti's Creative Consultant, Rebecca says her motivation was to create a look that anyone could create at home.

She shares with us her top tips to get this “easy, sexy, summery hairstyle” within minutes.

1 Apply a volumising mousse ( The team at Contrasti used Revlon volumising mousse)all through towel-dry hair and let it dry naturally.

2 Now focus on getting the wet look. For that, Rebecca suggests to apply Award Winner 2012 Orofluido all through the hair using fingers. This will give a silky shine. Remember to only do this once your hair is completely dry.

3 Use your fingers to pull the hair back into a low ponytail. Tie is loosely with a hair tie at ear level. Do note that there isn’t a parting in the hair.

4 Now wrap the ponytail into a messy low bun / chignon and secure with bobby pins. Pull a few strands out here and there if you want to add to the effortless look of the style.

5 If you want more shine, apply some more  Orofluido oil to the crown of the hair and enjoy your new fresh Spring look!

Winter Hair Care Tips from Claudio Contrasti @ Contrasti London Salons.



During the cold, dry air tends to dehydrate hair giving off static electricity.

It is advisable to avoid hair care products that dry out your hair,those with harsh chemicals or alcohol content. Dry hair, dandruff, split ends, and hair fall are frequent hair complaints in winter.

That's why I always recommend all my clients to follow these simple tips to protect their hair during the Winter.



The must-haves this winter are conditioners,the leave-in conditioner is recommended as winter weather can dry your hair and applying a leave-in conditioner ensures that your hair is moisturized and manageable.



For Men substitution a hair cream might be advisable over a styling gel. Avoid using any hair care product which has high alcohol content, which tends to dry ones hair.



So remember..



1. Cold weather can dry your hair, it is necessary to use hair conditioning or a leave-in conditioner that tones and replenishes the lost moisture.



2.Use lukewarm water to wash your hair as warm water strips away natural oils from the scalp. However over washing should also be avoided to prevent complete rinsing away of protective oils.



3.Winter is the peak time for dandruff, flaking occurs due to excessive cell production but it can be prevented by using a good dandruff shampoo on a regular basis. Apply dandruff shampoo on your hair, even when you are not suffering from dandruff, it can act as a good precautionary measure.



4. After showering, conditioning and reconditioning, carefully brush your hair to even out the natural oils.



5.The best is to eat a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and vitamins like A, C, E, and various B vitamins can all help improve hair quality.



6.Apply a leave-in conditioner before stepping out.

Since your wedding day is supposed to be the best day of your life it's only natural to want to look the best that you possible can. After all you, hopefully, won't get a second chance! So here are some tips to help your day go off without a hitch.

1) Plan your wedding, hairstyle, make up and dress well in advance. These 4 things must all work together and you don't want to find out a the last minute that something conflicts with something else. Dont wear too much make up and make sure that the colour scheme match with your attire.

2) Choose your hairstyle before you choose your head dress or your veil. When you have chosen a head dress or veil to match your hairstyle try it out!

3) Make sure that you or your hairdresser is happy and comfortable with the arrangement. A few practices will show up any flaws in your plans and get everyone at ease for the big day.

4) Your hair style. Don't think of your current style as a starting block for your wedding style. By adding hair extensions or a hair piece you can add volume and length and completely change your look. The beauty of a one off hair style is that you can go to much more effort than would if you had to do it every day.

Also think about your wedding dress and try to match its style. The degree of formality of your dress should be matched by your hairstyle.

5) Take care of your hair! You should already be doing this anyway but if your hair is in poor condition then it can take 6 months to bring it back to full condition so you can't start too soon. If you wish to colour your hair then you might want to consider conditioners etc that will return any moisture/condition lost to the colouring process.

6) If you colour your hair then you should have it topped up 2 weeks before your wedding to make sure that any roots are concealed. This would also be a good time for a final trial.

7) Make sure that all the products that you are going to use on the day of your wedding have all been used by you before. This is not a good time to find out that you are allergic to some of your chosen products. This can be avoided if you have a few dry runs first as suggested earlier.

8) Don't wash your hair on the day of your wedding or the night before. You hair is better when it's settled down so try and wash it at least 24 hours before the time of the wedding.

9) Most important rule is to relax and enjoy yourselves. This should be the best day of your life so once you have finished the preperations sit back and enjoy.
